Regarding The Processing Of Personal Data
As AXA Sigorta Anonim Şirketi/ AXA Hayat ve Emeklilik Anonim Şirketi (hereinafter referred to as “AXA”), acting in the capacity of Data Controller, we place the utmost importance on maintaining the confidentiality of your personal data and processing such data in compliance with applicable legislation while providing our services.
Accordingly, this Data Privacy Notice has been prepared in line with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as “PDPL”) to inform you - the true owner of the data - and to remind you of your rights. Please read this notice carefully before sharing your Personal and/or Sensitive Personal Data with our Company/Companies.
As explained in this notice, your personal and sensitive personal data may be recorded, archived, updated, transferred, classified, and processed in accordance with the relevant legislation, including PDPL and applicable secondary regulations.
A- Your Processed Personal Data, Purposes of Processing, and Legal Grounds
· Your personal data including identity, contact, employment, professional experience, education, visual records, references*, and the name and contact information of the person to be reached in case of emergency are processed.
*In the event that our Company/Companies requests references, or if you have included reference information in your résumé, it is your responsibility to share accurate information with AXA regarding the reference and to obtain the necessary consent from your reference to be contacted by us.
· Your sensitive personal data, including information regarding disability and health status (such as whether you have had a serious illness or surgery), as well as information related to association/foundation memberships (if included in your résumé), may be processed for the purposes and legal grounds outlined below:

In the context of recruitment processes, your personal data may be processed for the following purposes: receipt of your job application, review of your résumé, assessment of your suitability for the job description, implementation of human resources policies and procedures, contacting you as part of the recruitment process, and ensuring information security and physical premises security. | The processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, provided that it is directly related to the parties to the contract. In the context of the recruitment process, assessment of your suitability for the job description, and the execution of internal company procedures, your personal data may be shared with business partners and service providers whose systems are hosted on servers located abroad. B- Transfer of Personal Data and Purposes of Transfer
We would like to emphasize that, as AXA, we never share or disclose your personal data with unauthorized third parties for our own benefit. Your personal data may be transferred in line with the purposes of processing as specified under Section A titled “Your Processed Personal Data, Purposes of Processing, and Legal Grounds.”
In cases where required by applicable legislation or expressly permitted by you, your personal data may be shared with third parties and institutions, provided that all necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure an appropriate level of data security in accordance with the PDPL and other relevant legislation.
Accordingly, your personal data may be transferred to business partners, service providers, and suppliers located in Turkey or abroad, as well as AXA’s Group Companies abroad and relevant public authorities, for the purposes specified above.
C- Method of Collection of Personal Data
Your personal data is collected, based on the legal grounds specified above, through automated or non-automated methods, by means of information technology tools and similar means, and through verbal, written, or electronic channels. Such data is stored for the duration required by the purposes and legal obligations related to its processing.
Personal data contained in your CV or other documents you may have previously submitted or chosen to share with us during the job application process is collected through:
· Physical or electronic transmission by you,
· Online platforms that allow job applications via our websites or third-party platforms such as Kariyer.net, LinkedIn, or other online CV sharing tools.
Visual data is collected from CVs that include photographs, as well as from security cameras placed within the Company premises in line with our legitimate interest in ensuring workplace security.
D- Right to Application
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, which regulates the rights of the data subject, you may submit your requests to the Data Controller in accordance with the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Application to the Data Controller.
You may submit your requests under the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) by completing the “Application Form Under the Personal Data Protection Law” available at the following web address: https://www.axasigorta.com.tr/kisisel-veri-sahibinin-haklarini-kullanmasi-icin-basvuru, through one of the following methods:
· By delivering it in person to the address: Meclisi Mebusan Cad. No:15 34433 Salıpazarı, Beyoğlu, İstanbul, TÜRKİYE,
· By sending it via notary,
· By submitting it via secure electronic or mobile signature to the email address kisiselverikoruma@axasigorta.com.tr, or via your registered electronic mail (KEP) address or the email address registered in our systems.
Should the application you submit for this purpose incur any additional cost, you may be required to pay the fee as determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
Your request will be evaluated and finalized as soon as possible, and in any case, within no later than thirty (30) days, depending on the nature of the request.
* In the event of any changes to the personal data inventory, our Company/Companies will update this notification accordingly.
